Plain-English version of the deal between us. Booking a service means you’ve read this.
Who we are
Thunder Bay Home Services is operated by Frayze Technologies in Thunder Bay, Ontario. We coordinate cleaning and home-service work performed by vetted independent contractors.
Bookings & pricing
- Quoted prices are flat and confirmed by phone before any pro is dispatched. Add-ons and out-of-scope work are quoted separately, not surprised on you at the door.
- Online “requests” are exactly that — requests. A booking isn’t confirmed until we’ve agreed on time and price.
- Cancellations more than 24 hours out are free. Inside 24 hours we may charge a small fee to cover the pro’s held slot.
Our 24-hour guarantee
If anything isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours of the job. We’ll re-clean, touch up, or sort it out — at no extra cost to you. The promise is ours, not the pro’s.
Access & condition of the home
- You’re responsible for safe access (working locks, cleared paths in winter, pet plan, etc.).
- Heavy-duty restoration work (hoarding, biohazards, mold, pest-infested spaces) is out of scope unless we’ve agreed to it in writing.
- Tell us about fragile items or high-value pieces ahead of time and we’ll work around them.
Insurance & liability
The business carries liability coverage for the work we dispatch. If something gets damaged, contact us right away and we’ll handle it through the proper channel. Our total liability for any single job is capped at the price paid for that job, except where the law says otherwise.
Independent contractors
The pros doing the work are independent contractors, not our employees. We vet them, set the standards, back the guarantee, and pay them weekly — but each remains responsible for their own conduct on the job.
Privacy
Personal information you share with us is handled per our privacy policy.
